In 2006, an ambitious American traveler wanted to do his part to save the planet. Providing shoes to Argentinean children was just the beginning. Nearly five years later, one small idea became a global footwear revolution. Over one million pairs of shoes have now been given to children around the world. To make this happen, TOMS partners with health and humanitarian NGOs and established non-profits from 24 different countries. These organizations, along with your donation, have made the early TOMS dream a reality. The Giving Partners, as they call them, not only provide children with the shoes but also work to improve health and education in their respective communities.
