
If you find yourself in the Washington D.C. area at the end of April then you definitely don’t want to miss the Earth Day Fashion show that eco-chic boutique Carbon DC is hosting. Taking place on the night of April 22 from 6-9pm, the event will center around a trunk and fashion show for New York eco-label Auralis, where she will be debuting her Spring 2011 Collection in Washington.
Auralis Studio is an eco-fashion collection by Auralís, a fashion designer who spends her time between New York and Puerto Rico. Her rich cultural heritage and love of Carribean island life influences all her work, and she is actively involved in local Puerto Rico communities to help them create sustainable economies for themselves. Through the use of recycled, organic and sustainable fabrics (hemp, bamboo, organic cotton) she has created a breezy and beautiful spring collection worth taking a peek at below:
