Etsy Spotlight: Santoki Vintage

By on May 31, 2011

This entry marks the exciting beginning of a new series we are featuring on The Green Stylist this June: “Etsy Spotlights”. These entries will highlight some of my favorite indie designers and retailers on Etsy.com.

If you’re not familiar with Etsy, it’s a handmade/vintage marketplace where everyone gets their own little storefront and shop to sell (or buy) unique products from independent designers. With sellers from over 150 different countries, if you’re looking for something unique and one-of-a-kind Etsy is where it’s at. It’s also a great source of inspiration and I always find new handmade items to covet each time I visit their homepage.

Today’s inaugural Etsy Spotlight post is about my favorite Etsy vintage shop, Santoki Vintage.

Santoki Vintage is a great shop originating out of Austin, Texas. They always have an incredible selection of vintage shoes, clothes, and accessories. I especially love their selection of amazing vintage leather boots. The best part is there are so many hidden treasures all in one place so that you do not have to spend an entire afternoon digging through thrift stores and Goodwill if you don’t have the time to spare.

The product images are so professional and well done, with multiple views so you know exactly what you’re getting before it arrives in the mail. The prices are great too, and just think of how your simple act of shopping with Santoki and Etsy helps support independent retailers as well as up-cycle unique, vintage goods.

Here are three items from Santoki that I’ve been lusting over as of late:

These buttery leather suede moccasins, $35.00. So lovely with their handmade detailing.

This cute vintage Ikat mini dress, $58.00.

And this vintage Dooney and Bourke handbag, $69.00.

Shop Santoki Vintage right here, and look for more Etsy Spotlights the next coming weeks!
