Months ago we did a brief posting on “A’kin”, an Australian, all natural and organic skincare brand Jules discovered while studying abroad in London a few years ago. She was enamored with the purity of the ingredients and the luxuriousness of the products. Recently, we were lucky enough to catch up with Deborah James, Australian ambassador and owner of the Purist Company of Austrailia and Purist USA, the U.S. distributor of the A’kin line. Deborah was generous enough to even send me a sample of the Jasmine Body Wash, which I just adore for it’s super bubbly yet soap-free formula and amazing scent! Here she answers a few questions about the brand and what makes it stand out:
Tell us about the Purist Company and the A’kin product line, which have become internationally recognized for being organic, green, and chemical free.

What are some of your favorite products from the A’kin line?
Every person on the Purist team has their personal favorites and mine would include the A’kin Body Washes which lather well and retain moisture to the skin. Another favourite is the A’kin Pure Radiance Rosehip oil. Made with essential fatty acids like Omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids and Omega 9, the 23ml bottle offers a host of benefits, helping to revitalize and brighten skin. I apply 2-3 drops on my skin before my moisturizer. I use it to help heal scars and apply it to dry cuticles. It’s my absolute skincare essential!
