If your looking for something fun and low-key to do this weekend or just simply love crafting trinkets for your unique style, take a look at P.S.- I made this…. Inspired by the latest trends, this website is chock-full of simple and rewarding wardrobe makeover projects (like the tux redux below) that are sure to get your hands and inner style maven to work. With mood boards and illustrated instructions, you can choose anything from glitzing up a headband with rhinestones, or turning an old sweatshirt into a comfy and stylish poncho, to glueing together a stunning starburst mirror for your living room.
The brainchild of design and style expert Erica Domesek, P.S. – I made this… has been accessible on the web since April 2009, boasting an immense gallery of DIY projects. Erica also had book published in the fall of 2010, which features more than 25 projects that are easy to piece together and are a worthwhile way to spice up any old digs in the back of your closet. She has partnered with various brands, such as Via Spiga, Roxy and DesignSponge, and has been featured all over the television and the most on-trend fashion magazines, advocating DIY. Based on the motto “I see it. I like it. I make it.” the concept is offering fashionistas all around the world the opportunity to realize that a personal touch is something you can’t buy at a retail store.
Check out two of my favorite projects, the chain earrings and the feather skirt, or explore the gallery to find ones that suit your style. Happy crafting!
