Mar Y Sol is a team of New York designers working with artisans in Madagascar to create gorgeous and sustainable accessories, with natural materials sourced from local forests. The designers work with families in Madagascar to establish a fair trade model for them to live and work by. As we constantly feature in our articles here on The Green Stylist, we love seeing collaborations between the United States and other countries as they establish closer connections, support and improve local economies, and bring unique and handmade goods to the consumer market.
