Who are the people behind one sydney road?
Piper (self described as): owner, corporate dropout, dreamer, obsessed with pillows, tea towels and all linens! Along with her husband Marc: photographer, musicologist, court jester, obsessed with Star Wars.
I came across one sydney road when a friend of mine sent me a link to a fabulous tote…it was love at first sight! Unfortunately, it was sold out…but I was so happy to have been introduced to such a unique company.
Speaking of totes, I love this sling tote! Linen colors are all hand-dyed using environmentally friendly fiber reactive dyes. dyed in very small batches which allows for beautiful deep color. color will vary slightly from batch to batch.
This tote is also pretty cute…made from 100% natural cotton. The designer is Joy of Ex Foundation (England), which was founded by Sally Beerworth when her own divorce almost cost her her smile. So, she started writing a funny novel to make herself giggle and whilst writing the book she decided to start the foundation to make others smile!
The table linens featured below are eccentric and modern…perfect for a dinner party! Made from 100% linen.
How cute are these tea towels?! Black strappy shoes and pink polka-dots by French designers La Cerise sur Le Gateau. Silk-screened print on 100% cotton towel. Measures: 31.5″ x 19.5″ (80 x 50 cm)
This Wellies Print is adorable! Ink jet printed to keep the colors vibrant and imaged on archival fine art paper.
And finally, a must-have cotton dishtowel designed by La Cerise Sur Le Gateau. Silk-screened onto 100% cotton towel.
